Compliance Officer

Superbet is currently looking for a highly skilled, professional Compliance Officer to work in our business operations in accordance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal rules across the jurisdictions/markets where Superbet operates and intends to operate.
We are looking for someone who:
- 8 - 10 years experience in a similar compliance-based role;
- Has a good understanding of compliance obligations, requirements and dynamics;
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts;
- Has excellent verbal and written Portuguese and English skills;
- Has excellent time-management and organizational skills; detail-oriented and efficient;
- Is proactive, curious and self-sufficient, can work well cross-functionally;
- Has a solid understanding of what is needed to form critical plans to manage crisis events or compliance violations should they ever occur;
- Knowledge of iGaming, Sportsbook, or Casino will be considered a plus.
What you'll be doing:
- Review, obtain, and submit complete game and supplier certifications to the regulator
- Set up and manage a process for handling and supporting high-risk complaints and escalations.
- Develop and deliver mandatory and role-specific compliance training with scheduled refreshers.
- Develop, update, and monitor corporate policies with a regular review schedule.
- Support regulatory, audit, and similar inspections related to Compliance.
- Support day-to-day to internal and external stakeholders on any issues around compliance;
- Identify and evaluate the company’s data processing activities and maintain ROPA (register of processing activities).
- Be the lead and main contact for compliance-related matters, ensuring clear communication and consistent compliance guidance for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Assess the impact of regulatory developments on the business, and proactively implement any required changes.
