Payments Partnerships Commercial Manager

As the Payments Partnerships Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our global payments partnerships strategy. You will focus on identifying and managing commercial opportunities, negotiating contracts, improving transaction efficiency, and enhancing the user experience across multiple markets. This role combines elements of strategic planning, relationship management, commercial execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll be doing:
Strategic Partnership Execution
- Support the execution of the strategic roadmap for player-facing payments partnerships, aligned with product and commercial objectives.
- Identify and leverage emerging trends, technologies, and partnership models to drive transactional efficiency, innovation, and trust across markets.
Relationship & Commercial Management
- Lead commercial negotiations with payment partners to ensure cost-effective, scalable, and customer-friendly solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key payment partners, executing a structured Partner Management framework (including Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews).
- Monitor partner performance through commercial KPIs, ensuring alignment with contractual obligations and company financial goals.
Project & Initiative Management
- Collaborate with local commercial, legal, and product teams to roll out innovative payment solutions across web and mobile platforms.
- Support the creation of business cases to drive new market entry or elevate current payment capabilities.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Stay informed on global payment trends, competitor strategies, regulatory developments, and consumer behaviours.
- Use insights to continuously refine our payments partnership strategy and maintain competitive advantage.
Reporting & Performance Metrics
- Track, analyse, and report on key KPIs to measure the success of payments partnerships.
- Provide executive-level reporting to support decision-making and highlight areas for optimisation.
We're looking for someone who:
- 4+ years of experience in commercial partnerships, payments, fintech, or business development roles (ideally within digital, tech, or iGaming industries)
- Proven experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts with external partners
- Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, technologies, and trends across multiple geographies
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, legal, compliance, and commercial teams
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance data and translate into action
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity identification
- Experience in iGaming, e-commerce, fintech, or regulated digital environments is a plus
