Electricity Trading Intern

We are looking for an Electricity Trading Intern to join our dynamic team! You will be part of our electricity trading team and contribute to the development, implementation, and refinement of multi-market trading strategies for our Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). In this role, you can leverage your quantitative mindset and data science expertise to help drive our trading initiatives. 

What you will be working on: 

• Analyse electricity market trends in the Baltics and Poland to help identify potential trading opportunities. 
• Support the development of forecast models by gathering data and assisting in the analysis of key market indicators. 
• Monitor daily market performance and prepare basic reports to track fluctuations and trends. 
• Collaborate with the electricity trading team to review and improve existing strategies and assist in testing new approaches. 

What describes you:    

• Possess a quantitative and analytical mindset, with a strong ability to solve complex problems. 
• Be proficient or willing to learn modern data science and data engineering tools, particularly in relation to market analysis. 
• Demonstrate a strong interest in electricity markets, renewable energy, and trading, with a willingness to learn about market dynamics. 
• Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, with a passion for innovation and teamwork.
