Legal Counsel

We develop renewable energy projects and energy storage solutions, and we invest in startups in the electrification sector.  

We are looking for a passionate Legal Counsel to join our team at Sunly. In this role, you'll provide legal support across various aspects of our business in Latvia, supporting our renewable energy development projects. 

Your daily role:  

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects.  
• Identify legal risks through comprehensive analysis and provide actionable solutions.  
• Support corporate legal and day-to-day business activities.  
• Collaborate with and provide legal advice to departments in different countries across Sunly's operations. 
• Contribute to improving legal processes and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.  

What describes you:  

• Professional experience in legal consulting, especially in energy, real estate, or construction sectors. 
• LLM or master’s degree in law.  
• Strong skills in legal drafting and negotiations, with an eye for accuracy and detail.  
• A curious mindset paired with a sense of accountability.  
• Proficiency in Latvian and English (written and spoken).  
• A genuine passion for renewable energy and future technologies.

The salary range for this position is between 3000€ and 3700€ gross per month, depending on the candidate's skills and experience.
