Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will design, build, and optimise our data infrastructure, empowering smarter decision-making and advancing our mission towards a sustainable energy future. 

Your daily role:   

  • Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data architectures for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis. 
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and adherence to best practices. 
  • Collaborate with BI Analyst and business stakeholders to deliver structured datasets and scalable data models. 
  • Contribute to the development and integration of AI models by preparing and managing relevant datasets. 
  • Document data workflows, schemas, and processes for clarity and transparency. 

What describes you:    

  • Experience in data engineering (preferably with Python) and proficiency in designing and managing production-level data workflows. 
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and data warehousing tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks). 
  • Strong skills in SQL and working with relational databases. 
  • Knowledge of modern data stack tools and awareness of industry trends. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Flexible and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Passionate about renewable energy and future technologies.
