Staff Product Manager (Fulfillment) (StubHub, Inc., New York, NY)

 

Define the roadmap and prioritization of the firm’s fulfillment product offering in alignment with broader organizational strategies, incorporating product marketing strategy, pricing considerations, market trends, and other business intelligence data to ensure product-market fit and profitability. Take ownership of key business metrics that directly and meaningfully impact product Profit and Loss (P&L), including return-on-investment, cost management, and revenue optimization strategies. Leverage business intelligence data to own and negotiate relationships and contracts with key vendors and distributors to support business areas and handle product distribution, establishing distribution networks as needed. Track and reduce costs within the business area using data-informed judgments, as well as evaluate expenditures and financial implications of product development and operational decisions. Support a business-critical product area or multiple related product areas within a product domain, integrating business developments and market research considerations into strategy and execution. Independently turn high-level business strategy into coherent product strategy and roadmap, leveraging business intelligence and market research findings, strategic planning, and cross-functional input. Translate complex technical challenges and user needs into clear, actionable product requirements and detailed specifications, in consultation with development and design stakeholders, and with consideration for customer satisfaction where applicable. Analyze business intelligence data to evaluate platform behavior and performance using tooling such as SQL, Snowflake, and Tableau, while monitoring market and commercial trends to inform strategic adjustments. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to StubHub, Inc. at 3 World Trade Center – 175 Greenwich Street, 59th Floor, New York, New York 10007. Salary: $242,000 to $325,000 per year.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving technical business analysis.

In lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience, the employer will accept a Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Marketing, Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Product Manager, Senior Product Manager, or any occupation/position/job title involving technical business analysis.

 

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience with A/B Testing and Experimentation including making decisions on experimentation deployment, designing metrics and experimentation frameworks, and building detailed analysis of A/B test results; 3 years of professional experience writing clear and concise technical product documentation including product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; 3 years of professional experience working directly with engineering counterparts to make decisions on technical infrastructure; 3 years of professional experience managing the backlog of an engineering team using Jira; 2 years of professional experience with analytic tools including Snowflake, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL Server; and 2 years of professional experience working with third party ticketing integrations including APIs provided by primary ticketing companies.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
