Senior Product Manager - Marketplace Risk

New York, New York, United States

StubHub is on a mission to redefine the live event experience on a global scale. Whether someone is looking to attend their first event or their hundredth, we’re here to delight them all the way from the moment they start looking for a ticket until they step through the gate. The same goes for our sellers. From fans selling a single ticket to the promoters of a worldwide stadium tour, we want StubHub to be the safest, most convenient way to offer a ticket to the millions of fans who browse our platform around the world.

About the Admissions Team:

Admissions owns the fan journey from purchase to venue entry. We orchestrate a real-time fulfillment network connecting sellers, partners, and systems to get buyers in—reliably and delightfully. When things go wrong, we diagnose and resolve issues fast through resilient systems, automation, and AI-driven interventions that protect the buyer experience and strengthen marketplace trust.

Within this mission, Marketplace Risk plays a critical role: building the intelligence that ensures fans enjoy the broadest, safest inventory in live events—without compromise. We don’t believe trust and growth are a tradeoff. We believe in inventing systems that expand both.

About the Role:

As a Senior Product Manager – Marketplace Risk, you will design and evolve the intelligence layer that governs how supply enters StubHub. You’ll own a suite of scalable, adaptive systems that determine what can be listed on the platform and what level of friction sellers experience. Your mandate: accelerate platform growth while increasing marketplace trust—pushing beyond traditional risk tradeoffs.

This role is built for a systems-minded product leader: someone energized by complex dynamics, motivated to invent new models for marketplace trust, and excited to build 0→1 products that shape the future of supply on StubHub.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote) – New York, NY

What You’ll Do:

Build the Future of Marketplace Trust

  • Drive strategy for intelligent, scalable, and adaptive systems that determine listing eligibility and shape seller experience across the platform.
  • Develop frameworks that expand marketplace liquidity and safety—introducing innovation that unlocks new supply without compromising fan trust.
  • Translate ambiguous, systems-level challenges into actionable product strategies, experiments, and long-term architectures.

Own a Key Fulfillment Product Domain

  • Take full ownership of a set of systems, metrics, and initiatives within the Fulfillment product area.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data science, and operations to design, build, and scale risk-informed workflows.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of 0→1 capabilities that respond to evolving trends in a dynamic, global marketplace.

Deliver Meaningful Impact at Scale

  • Improve how sellers enter and interact with the platform—driving the right outcomes for fans, partners, and marketplace health.
  • Use data to understand emerging patterns, measure system performance, and inform prioritization.
  • Improve seller and listing quality through intelligent controls that enhance fan confidence and reduce downstream issues.

What You’ve Done:

  • 5–8+ years of experience in product management, ideally in marketplaces, trust & safety, risk, fulfillment, or other systems-focused environments.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous problem spaces—setting strategy, aligning stakeholders, and driving execution.
  • Strong analytical and technical fluency; comfortable with data, experimentation, and partnering with engineering and data science teams.
  • Demonstrated success designing and scaling systems that influence marketplace or platform dynamics.
  • Systems thinker who understands how changes propagate across a complex ecosystem and can design for long-term marketplace health.
  • Equally comfortable zooming out to define strategy and zooming in to craft the details of a model, workflow, or experiment.

What We Offer:

  • Accelerated Growth Environment: An environment designed for swift skill and knowledge enhancement, where you have the autonomy to lead experiments and tests on a massive scale.
  • Top Tier Compensation Package: Competitive base, equity, and upside that tracks with your impact.
  • Flexible Time Off: Enjoy unlimited Flex Time Off, giving you the flexibility to manage your schedule and take time to recharge as needed.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package: Prioritize your well-being with a comprehensive benefits package, featuring 401k, and premium Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance options.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub’s total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
