Staff DevOps Engineering (f/m/d) Build & AI-Ops

You are the architect of developer velocity. Your goal is to eliminate every second of friction in the engineering lifecycle, ensuring that a complex, multi-language (C++/Node.js) project feels as lightweight and responsive as a modern greenfield app. You don’t just manage servers; you manage the "AI-Ops" infrastructure that allows our Specialists and Staff engineers to work at 3x traditional speeds.

Tasks

• Environment Mastery: Design and maintain a "5-minute onboarding" workflow using Docker and DevContainers. You ensure that "it works on my machine" is a guarantee for every new hire.
• AI-Ops & RAG Management: Manage the team’s local AI infrastructure, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) clusters, Cursor Skill libraries, and the custom documentation indexing that feeds our LLMs.
• The Bridge Pipeline: Automate and optimize the high-complexity compilation and hot-reload cycle between the LibreOffice C++ core and the Node.js/JavaScript frontend.
• Autonomous CI/CD: Build "intelligent" pipelines that don't just report failures but use AI to analyze logs and automatically suggest (or apply) patches for brittle legacy build steps.
• Performance Guardrails: Implement "Continuous Profiling" in the build chain to catch 16ms frame-budget violations before code ever reaches a pull request.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Docker, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and Makefile/CMake environments.
• Expertise in Python, Go, or Rust for building high-performance internal automation tools.
• Strong experience with Modern Web Tooling (Vite, Webpack, esbuild) and optimizing large-scale JS monorepos.
• Familiarity with managing Vector Databases or LLM self-hosting (Ollama/LocalAI) is a significant advantage.
• The AI Factor: You are the team’s "Prompt Architect" for infrastructure. You will use models like Opus 4.6 Max and specialized DevOps agents to automate the "toil" of system administration, focusing your human intelligence on systemic optimizations and creating a seamless "Flow State" for the coding team.
• The Gaming Edge: We highly value experience from AAA Game Build Engineering. If you have managed the automated pipeline for complex, multi-platform assets and codebases where "Build Time" and "Asset Cooking" are primary KPIs, you have the exact DNA we need for this high-performance office suite.
