Sr. Regulatory Compliance Officer

Singapore

About The Role

You will join our Regulatory Compliance team, reporting to the Deputy Head of Compliance. The team makes sure each of our licensed entities meets its regulatory obligations, and it is the main point of contact between the business and our regulators, auditors and banking partners. The team works as one unit. Responsibilities are allocated across team members based on business needs, so you should expect your focus to shift over time across the areas below. In your first year, we expect the focus to be on audit and inspection liaison, regulatory change, and partner due diligence.

What Will You Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal/external audits and banking partner inspections, coordinating evidence (RFIs) and drafting management responses.
  • Conduct pre-audit mock reviews and manage the central issue tracking log to ensure all audit findings and deficiencies are remediated on time.
  • Project manage regulatory change initiatives across business, product, and tech teams to ensure new compliance controls are successfully built and deployed.
  • Track and internalize new MAS notices, guidelines, and circulars, proactively briefing senior management on operational and business impacts.
  • Partner with the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team to address gap analyses (e.g., MAS PSN01/2) and track end-to-end corrective action plans.
  • Review new product launches and material business changes, advising stakeholders on regulatory requirements and compliance risks.
  • Respond to due diligence questionnaires from banking partners and perform onboarding/periodic reviews of our own vendors to maintain the outsourcing framework.
  • Oversee key regulatory obligations and policy registers, and assist in preparing the enterprise-wide ML/TF risk assessment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Banking, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of regulatory compliance experience within a MAS-regulated financial institution, payment firm, bank, or audit/advisory firm.
  • Deep understanding of the Payment Services Act (PSA) and relevant MAS notices/guidelines, particularly covering AML/CFT, Technology Risk, Outsourcing, and Regulatory Reporting.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing regulatory returns, implementing regulatory changes, and engaging directly with MAS.
  • A strong track record of driving regulatory implementation projects from initial gap analysis through to successful rollout across business, product, and tech teams.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to draft clear, accurate gap analyses, management papers, and regulatory responses for senior leadership on the first attempt.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple concurrent deliverables while securing timely input from cross-functional peers without direct reporting lines.
