Regulatory Compliance Officer

Singapore

About The Role

You will join our Regulatory Compliance team, reporting to the Deputy Head of Compliance. You will keep the team's registers, calendar and records accurate and up to date, so that nothing the company owes our regulators is missed. This is a good entry point into regulatory compliance: you will see how a licensed payments and stablecoin business is run from the inside, and you will grow into more of the team's work over time.

What Will You Do

  • Maintain the compliance calendar of regulatory returns, surveys, MAS queries and complaints; remind and chase the teams responsible for each item; and submit returns and notifications on the MAS portal once they are approved by the Deputy Head of Compliance.
  • Maintain the team's registers, including the obligations register, the policy and procedure register, the breach and incident register, the outsourcing register, and the fit and proper, training, conflicts of interest, and gifts and entertainment registers; follow up with owners on overdue items.
  • Support the senior regulatory compliance officer and the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)) Team to maintain the Company’s AML/CFT program by tracking and implementing regulatory change initiatives across business units, tech/product teams, and operational functions. To ensure timely implementation of compliance controls, you will support end-to-end follow-up for remediation items and corrective action plans on AML/CFT requirements such as MAS Notice and Guideline PSN01/2 on Prevention of Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism
  • Log reported incidents, gather the facts and documents needed, and escalate them promptly to the team for assessment. You will also support the maintenance of the company’s data protection framework and policies.
  • Maintain the shareholding chart, certified true copies of director documents and other corporate records, and track renewals, working with the Corporate Secretary in our Legal team.
  • Schedule committee meetings, circulate papers, take minutes and track actions to closure.
  • Track completion of compliance training and annual declarations, and follow up with staff and the People team on outstanding items.

What We Are Looking For

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance or a related field.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in compliance, legal, corporate secretarial or operations roles. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply.
  • Very organised, with strong attention to detail; you keep trackers and records accurate without being reminded.
  • Clear writing, especially for minutes and short follow-up emails.
Comfortable following up with colleagues across teams, such as Legal, People and Tech, until items are closed.
