Product Manager, Stablecoin Payments API

Singapore

About the Role

StraitsX is seeking an adaptable Product Manager to join our Stablecoin Payments team. In this role, you will own the product build for our stablecoin payments API, a reusable platform that enables banks and major platforms to accept, convert, and settle stablecoin payments. This is an early-stage product in a fast-evolving regulatory environment and part of the roadmap will be yours to define. The role suits a builder who is energised by ambiguity rather than someone looking for a well-paved backlog. The responsibilities below describe the full product surface. You'll own the core build from day one, working directly with engineering — and your scope expands through a deliberate, staged handover as the product grows: partner integrations first, then regulatory-to-product translation and broader roadmap ownership.

What You Will Do

  • Scope, prioritise, and design the core product — API design, payment flows, wallet whitelisting, off-ramp UX, and the edge cases that make or break payments products.
  • Drive day-to-day execution with engineering, owning build sequencing, scope trade-offs, and release readiness. Define the operational flows, monitoring requirements, and internal tooling needed to run the product at scale.
  • Translate complex regulatory frameworks (e.g., Travel Rule, AML requirements) into actionable product requirements. When counsel defines what is possible, you design the flows and controls that make it work, and sequence the build so pending approvals and open regulatory outcomes don't force rework.
  • Implement compliance controls across the product, ensuring flows are compliant while minimising user friction. Own the product decision log and flow documentation that compliance, partners, and engineers build against.
  • Program-manage cross-functional partner delivery across engineering, compliance, legal, and external partner teams.
  • Take partner integrations end-to-end as they firm up — from solution design through launch and iteration.
  • Own the developer experience for third-party platforms building on the product — API documentation, sandbox environments, and integration support.

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–6 years of Product Management experience, with a proven track record of launching and scaling API, platform, fintech, or infrastructure products.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, successfully driving outcomes amid changing priorities, evolving requirements, and shifting business needs.
  • Strong product sense with expertise in user journey design, UX decision-making, edge-case analysis, and balancing trade-offs to deliver customer-centric solutions.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Engineering, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and external partners.
  • Experience in payments, banking, fintech infrastructure, or other regulated industries, with a solid understanding of the regulatory and operational considerations involved in building financial products.
  • Strong interest in stablecoins, digital assets, and emerging financial technologies, coupled with a growth mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to quickly develop expertise in new domains and market trends.
  • Passionate about leveraging AI to improve product development and team productivity, with hands-on experience integrating AI tools into workflows and a commitment to driving continuous innovation and operational excellence.
