About the Role

What You Will Do

  • Develop and build new backend features for our payment systems.
  • Collaborate with product managers to understand project goals and deliver on our product roadmap.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and learn software engineering best practices.
  • Help ensure our systems are reliable, secure, and available for our users.
  • Participate in team meetings, from code reviews and sprint planning to discussing system architecture.
  • Optimize system performance and contribute to a secure financial platform.
  • Work with frontend developers to ensure our services integrate smoothly.

What We Are Looking For

  • A recent graduate or junior developer with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Some experience with a backend programming language like Ruby on Rails, Golang, Python, or a similar language.
  • An understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and basic system design principles.
  • Knowledge of Git for version control.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for learning.
  • Any experience with financial technology, blockchain, or frontend technologies (like React or JavaScript) is a plus!
