Mid Software Development Engineer In Test

About The Role

We're looking for an SDET who actively contributes to the Agile Scrum/Kanban Board, collaborates with fellow SDETs, QAs, developers, product managers, and business owners to ensure requirements are met and thoroughly tested. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting test automation, recommending improvements and new processes or tools for the automation framework, and ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the test automation project.

What You Will Do

  • Active contributor on SDET Agile Scrum/Kanban Board
  • Work with fellow SDETs, Developers, product managers, and business owners in the team to ensure requirements are tested and and are met
  • Test automation maintenance troubleshooting for issues encountered on a daily basis.
  • Suggest and recommends new processes/ improvements/ tools within the test automation framework
  • Keep pace with the developments of financial technology in the region
  • Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of the test automation project

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience in Java-based test automation
  • Proficient in Test Automation Frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, and Karate BDD.
  • Hands-on experience with Git technologies (GitHub, GitLab, Azure) and CI/CD tools (CircleCI, Jenkins, GitLab, Azure)
  • Experience automating tests across multiple platforms: Desktop (Windows, Mac, Linux), Web Browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), and Mobile (Android, iOS)
  • Skilled in manual testing within Agile environments, using white-box/black-box testing techniques
  • Ability to create and manage test data from databases (e.g., SQL)
  • Strong interest in a career as an SDET, focusing 60% on automation scripting, 30% on automation maintenance, and 10% on manual testing
  • Enthusiastic about professional growth, with a willingness to receive and give constructive feedback
