Stitch is a payments infrastructure company on a mission to make it easier for enterprise businesses to connect to the financial system and build better experiences for their customers.
We are expanding the team to enable Stitch to broaden our product offering and extend our geographical footprint.
We’re hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new-logo revenue across South Africa. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will own the full enterprise sales cycle - from strategic prospecting through to negotiation and closing of deals.
This is purely a new business role focused on acquiring and closing complex, high-value enterprise opportunities.
You’ll engage C-level and senior stakeholders, helping leading businesses transition from legacy payment infrastructure to Stitch’s enterprise-grade payment and data solutions. This role requires strong commercial ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex buying environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and close new enterprise opportunities, driving net new revenue growth.
- Build and execute strategic account plans across priority enterprise targets.
- Develop and manage a high-quality pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting and network-driven lead generation.
- Lead complex, multi-threaded sales processes involving executive, technical, procurement, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Solutions, Product, and Leadership teams to design tailored commercial and technical proposals.
- Negotiate and structure commercial agreements with C-suite and senior decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting in HubSpot
Requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of the South African fintech, banking, or payments landscape.
- Ability to sell complex technical solutions to both business and technical audiences.
- Demonstrated experience navigating long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills..
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with a focus on new business acquisition in South Africa.
- Proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals and consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience selling payments, fintech, data, infrastructure, or API-driven solutions is highly preferred.
- Experience managing sophisticated sales processes with large enterprise customers.
- Proficiency using CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for pipeline management and forecasting.
