Senior Sales Operations Manager - India

The Role

The Senior Sales Operations Manager will play a critical role in optimising our sales processes, ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable insights to drive our high velocity sales strategy. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, technical expertise, and business acumen to support the sales team and contribute to the overall growth of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Analytics and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Forecasting and analysis: assist in sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.

  • Sales Process Optimization:
    • Evaluate and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Implement best practices, rules of engagement and standard operating procedures for the sales team.
    • Provide operational support to the sales team, including preparing sales materials, managing sales documentation, and coordinating sales activities
    • Create, map and document processes and effectively communicate them to various business stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with the RevOps and Enablement team to document GTM processes.

  • CRM Management:
    • Collaborate with our Salesforce admin to optimise our lead funnel management.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within Salesforce.
    • Train sales team members on Salesforce best practices and usage.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with our Enablement team to develop and execute sales enablement programs
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Marketing Ops to develop and launch sales campaigns.
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and achieve sales objectives
    • Compliance: ensure that all sales operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.

  • Performance Management:
    • Track and evaluate the performance of the sales team. Generate and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
    • Identify and address skill gaps through training and development initiatives.
    • Assist in the design and implementation of incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers.
    • Calculating and processing monthly sales commissions accurately and timely, ensuring alignment with established compensation plans and policies.

What we are looking for

  • Clear and demonstrable experience in Sales Operations in Fintech, cloud, information technology or software companies. 
  • A strong aptitude for data analysis, coupled with a proactive operational mindset, capable of driving efficiency and effectiveness through data-driven strategies.
  • Solid process flow design, combined with exceptional project execution capabilities.
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Communication: excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Attention to Detail: high attention to detail, data hygiene & accuracy
  • CRM knowledge: proficiency in using CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Team player: ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
  • Adaptability: ability to adapt to changing business needs and work in a fast-paced & high sales velocity environment.

What Success Looks Like 

  • Process: Develop, implement and embed sales processes with automation and velocity at heart. 
  • Performance: Develop, implement and embed KPIs, sales metrics, and best practices methodologies.
  • Systems/Tools: Optimise data management and reporting structure, CRM configuration, and task automation requirements.
