Sales Development Representative - India

The Role: 

As a Sales Development Representative at Stenn, you will help with the new business acquisition. In this global role you will drive new business primarily focussing on: Finished Consumer Goods, cross-border trade with a geographical focus on India.

Leads will be generated from our internal CRM, which has thousands of prospects waiting to be targeted; alongside converting in-bound new business leads you will also generate new business through outbound prospecting. 

As the first line of contact, you will understand the diverse needs of our customers. You will become an expert in the products and services that enables our clients to grow and present the best value proposition possible. Ultimately you will be an internal champion of the features/functionality of our most critical SME clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business development: You will work on the leads from marketing activities, partnerships channel and outbound prospecting. 
    • You will make contact with those leads, explain Stenn’s offerings and help the sales teams with the qualified leads
  • You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders internally including the marketing team, partnerships team, sales ops & sales team in India.
  • You will follow the reporting and tracking procedure of leads in the CRM ensuring effective communication to the marketing & sales teams.
  • Hit monthly goals and targets: Ultimately this is a sales role. You will own your monthly acquisition  target and ensure you hit weekly, monthly and quarterly goals. 
  • Understand the market/product: To be the best sales person you need to have the best product knowledge. You will learn everything there is to know about Stenn Hub and our factoring model in order to stand out in the market. 
  • Instil trust: Through structured, professional, informed dialogue demonstrate Stenn Technologies  as a highly experienced, credible and compelling financing partner to SME businesses.
  • Grow our culture: We’re on this journey together and we’re still building and working a lot of things out, that’s the truly unique part of this opportunity; where the business is at today and the potential we have. What will success look like at the end of your first year at Stenn?

A successful SDR will have hit all clear acquisition and revenue targets whilst always having the end customer in mind. 

  • We have successfully identified and acquired key SME Clients within our target verticals and corridor strategy.
  • You have delivered best-in-class service to both new and existing partners; strengthening  the relationship, and increasing revenue and trust.
  • We are on target to deliver required revenue and leads (Overachieving is even better).
  • You have mastered your understanding of the product and verticals we operate in. 
  • You have immersed yourself in Stenn’s culture and are excited for what the future holds.

Required Experience:

  • 2+ years of SDR experience ideally within: FinTech, SaaS or eCommerce.
  • A proven track record of consistently hitting targets and sales goals.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end SME sales processes with evidence of building long term collaborative relationships within our target sectors.
  • A desire to grow your career in a sales function.
  • Speed, resourcefulness, and go-getter attitude. Stenn moves incredibly fast and always operates in new spaces whether this be verticals or geographies.
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced scaleup environment.
