Special Projects Manager

The Role:
At Stenn, we’re looking for a Special Projects Manager to help us drive the key strategic initiatives - cross-functional strategic projects. The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing the projects.
The key strategic initiatives encapsulate our essential strategic projects and define the essence of the strategy execution. As the strategy evolves so do the initiatives. But each year or half a year we have several (5-7) strategic projects that represent an all-company effort to advance our strategy. The Special Project Manager will be responsible for all parts of the project planning and management:
Project Planning:
- Work with the Customer function to identify projects, define scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. The projects could typically span across Customer, Commercial, Product, Operations (Risk, Compliance, anti-Fraud) teams
- Develop project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Project Execution:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
- Track project progress regularly, set up a Project Management Office (PMO) as needed.
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Influence cross functional stakeholders, sometimes without control
- Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to keep on track with tasks and projects
- Delegate project tasks based on individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
Stakeholder Management:
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in Project Management / consulting experience (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, ATK, LEK, OW, big 4 etc.) post MBA
- Preferably, FinTech/ start-up experience in Project Management/ Commercial/Strategy & Ops/ BizOps/ equivalent roles. Sharp commercial focus and the ability to be pragmatic
- Strong project management skills - can run multiple projects in parallel, and ensure timely delivery, open and transparent communication etc.
- Strong problem solving skills, structuring and analytical skills and communication skills
- Hands-on with data analysis, market research and syntheses. Proficiency in data analysis tools, market research methodologies, and business intelligence platforms
- Ability to develop, plan, shape and run workstreams independently
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Natural curiosity and a strong drive to continuously learn and embrace new tools and methodologies
