You probably want to know what’s involved?

 

As a QA (Quality Assurance) on our position, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products or services by implementing and maintaining testing processes and procedures. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements, design test plans, execute test cases, and report any defects or issues found. You will be involved in automation testing, performance testing, and regression testing to continuously improve product quality. This role will also involve mentoring and guiding junior QA team members, as well as providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.

 

What you will be responsible for:

 

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software releases.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and provide input into the overall software development lifecycle.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, including but not limited to test case management, defect tracking, and test environment management.
  • Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams to assist in debugging and resolving issues.
  • Lead and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Develop and implement a robust testing strategy to address both functional and non-functional requirements of software products.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

How do you know if you are the right candidate?

 

Ideally you will have proven experience 3+ working as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on automation testing and strategy, strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C# or Java for test automation purposes and hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will also have experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwrignt, Appium, or similar tools, experience in building and maintaining QA processes and establishing testing standards and certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
