Associate Technical Leader
Location: Sines
About the job:
We are looking for an Associate Technical Lead to join our growing Operations team. In this Role, you will support the Senior Technical Lead in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of critical facility systems. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the coordination, monitoring, and hands-on maintenance of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, such as HVAC, power distribution, and monitoring systems. You will help plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance, respond to incidents, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will collaborate with contractors, engineering teams, and vendors, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background who is eager to develop leadership skills in a mission-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of critical facility systems (e.g., HVAC, chillers, power distribution, BMS, EPMS).
- Support the planning and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and abnormal conditions, escalating as needed.
- Help coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for maintenance and repairs.
- Contribute to documentation, including maintenance records, procedures, and incident reports.
- Support compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior technicians.
- Assist in training exercises and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in facility operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–4 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or a similar technical environment.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical and/or electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, power, controls).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures and processes.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with safety and compliance standards (e.g., EHS, critical works processes).
- Willingness to be available for escalation and incident response as a backup of the technical lead.
- Eagerness to learn and grow into a leadership position.
Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).

- Experience in developing and implementing operational procedures and processes.
