THE ROLE

 

S-RM are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our marketing team at an exciting time for our business. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-paced and rapidly evolving global organisation. 

 

This person will work closely with Marketing colleagues, business development teams, senior leadership, and stakeholders across the business to proactively manage and develop S-RM’s digital marketing activity across key regions including EMEA, US and APAC.

 

We are looking for someone who is adaptable, can be part of a team and wants to grow with the business. In this role, you are likely to take on the following tasks on a day-to-day basis:

  • Digital marketing strategy: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies that drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation across diverse channels and markets, while effectively managing a budget to maximise ROI.
  • Digital advertising: Manage paid digital advertising campaigns on platforms including LinkedIn and Google. Ensure campaign optimisation, A/B testing, and performance analysis to maximise advertising ROI.
  • Campaign management: Work with marketing and business development teams to run highly targeted campaigns across regions, including account-based marketing campaigns.
  • CRM and marketing automation: Leverage HubSpot to design and implement advanced workflows, maintain GDPR-compliant data, and optimise marketing campaigns.
  • Website development: Ownership of the website development roadmap. Manage and optimise website content to ensure consistent brand messaging, SEO best practices, and seamless user experience to drive web traffic and conversions.
  • SEO: Develop S-RM’s SEO strategy across key regions and enhance online presence using SEO techniques to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Email marketing: Design and execute targeted email campaigns to engage and nurture leads and optimise customer journeys.
  • Sales enablement and alignment: Align marketing efforts with sales objectives to streamline lead nurturing processes and ensure ‘top of the funnel’ activity is effectively managed.
  • Social media marketing: Manage organic social media marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness, engage target audiences, and drive measurable business results.
  • Supplier management: Manage day-to-day relationships with key partner agency (HubSpot website specialists) and technology / advertising platforms (HubSpot, LinkedIn, Google).
  • Measurement and reporting: Analyse and report on digital performance via Google Analytics, HubSpot, CRM and other systems to optimise digital and offline marketing campaigns and establish benchmarks for future campaign performance.
  • Budget management: Proactive management of the digital marketing budget, adjusting spending strategy where required and reporting regularly on ROI and impact.
  • Digital innovation: Push the company to leverage relevant, emerging technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and brand positioning

 

The role will be based in our Cape Town office, however we have flexible working arrangements available.

 

 

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

 

The successful candidate will have proven experience in planning, implementing and executing successful digital marketing strategies in a B2B environment, and able to highlight revenue and sales pipeline impact. You will understand how to invest in digital marketing to maximise results, working closely with team members to deliver effective multi-channel campaigns and optimise digital marketing channels. 

 

We think that candidates with the following skills and experience are likely to succeed as a Digital Marketing Manager at S-RM. Nobody checks every box — we’re looking for candidates who are particularly strong in a few areas, and have some interest and capabilities in others.

 

We’re looking for someone that is able to adapt to change and work comfortably in a fast-paced environment, this person will have some or all of these skills:

  • At minimum, several years of experience in digital marketing, ideally with some of those within in a B2B environment
  • Highly experienced using marketing automation (HubSpot) platforms.
  • Significant experience managing and developing websites built on HubSpot.
  • Highly experienced in running paid campaigns for B2B audiences across Google and LinkedIn
  • Strong reporting skills including use of GA4
  • Excellent understanding of sales funnel and the implementation across digital channels
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to take projects from inception to completion
  • Able to manage digital media budgets across campaigns, regions, and media / agency partners 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

All candidates must have permission to work in South Africa by the start of their employment.
