As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a driven individual to join our team as the Senior User Experience Researcher (f/m/d) and drive our business forward. The role can be based in Berlin or Leipzig or remote within Germany with the opportunity to come to Berlin on a regular basis.
What Will Your Role Be
We’re looking for a curious, pragmatic, and strategic Senior User Researcher (f/m/d) to help us shape the future of our digital products. In this role, you’ll not only lead high-impact research that uncovers deep user insights, but you will also play a pivotal role in building a culture of continuous discovery across the organization.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams - designers, PMs, and engineers - to embed research into our workflows, enabling us to conduct continuous discovery and make user-centered decisions. You’ll also play a key role in training and mentoring team members, creating scalable research practices, and ensuring research insights drive both tactical and strategic decisions.

What You´ll Do
- Lead generative and evaluative research: Plan, conduct, analyze, and present user research studies across our most important problem spaces, touchpoints and projects.
- Empower product teams: Train and mentor designers and PMs to conduct research independently, fostering a culture of continuous discovery.
- Embed research into product teams: Partner closely with cross-functional teams to integrate research into their workflows, ensuring insights are actionable and drive decision-making.
- Develop scalable research practices: Create research playbooks, templates, and tools to enable self-service research while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Synthesize and centralize insights: Combine data from multiple sources - user feedback, behavioral analytics, and business insights - to create a centralized repository of research findings that inform both tactical and strategic decisions.
- Advocate for the user: Champion user needs in product discussions, ensuring decisions are grounded in a deep understanding of our customers.
- Shape research operations: Help evolve the research operations and documentation practices to increase visibility, impact, and scalability of research across the organization.
What You´ll Bring
- Extensive hands-on experience in UX research, ideally in e-commerce, SaaS, or consumer-facing environments.
- Proven track record of conducting both generative and evaluative research, with a strong ability to translate insights into actionable outcomes.
- Experience working in dynamic, transforming organizations, ideally covering B2B, B2C, and B2B2C models, with multi-brand complexities.
- A pragmatic, scientific mindset that balances methodological rigor with business realities.
- Experience mentoring or training cross-functional teams in research methods is a strong plus.
- Experience in UX would be a significant plus, as it will help you navigate the intersection of design, research, and product strategy to deliver actionable insights and solve complex challenges.
Methods & Tools
- Proven experience with a range of research methods: interviews, usability testing, surveys, contextual enquiries, and qualitative/quantitative data analysis and synthesis.
- Ideally familiarity with such tools as UserTesting, UserZoom, Hotjar, Dovetail, SurveyMonkey, JIRA, Confluence or similar.
- Experience with Figma, analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), or statistical tools (SPSS, R).

- High standards for research quality and outcomes, ensuring rigor and impact in every project.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to train and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Adaptability to evolving structures and the ability to navigate organizational change with realistic expectations.
- Strong team player mindset, putting collaboration over ego.
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a strong plus but not required.
