Graphic Design Lead
About the role
The Graphic Design Lead will be responsible for leading the entire visual design area of SportyNet, ensuring the channel’s graphic identity across all platforms. This professional will oversee the creation and development of graphic packages, show identities, live broadcast assets, communication materials, and digital content. The role is highly strategic in shaping the brand’s visual language, guaranteeing consistency, innovation, and top-level aesthetics in every visual product delivered.
What you'll be doing
Creative Leadership & Art Direction
- Define and evolve the channel's visual language, strengthening SportyNet's brand identity
- Develop design guideline, brand manuals, and graphic standards for TV and digital platforms
- Lead creative processes form concept development to final delivery, ensuring artistic and functional excellence
- Propose innovative visual solutions aligned with the channel's position and editorial needs
Visual Identity Development & Graphic Packages
- Create and oversee full visual identities for shows, segments, and special events
- Develop graphic packages for sports broadcasts: lower thirds, straps, animations, scorebugs, data layouts, and more
- Ensure all visual elements meet clarity, legibility, and technical broadcast requirements
- Adapt identities and assets for multiple platforms, including social media, YouTube, and OTT environments
Graphic Production Management & Workflow
- Plan and prioritize design demands to ensure timely delivery with high-quality standards
- Implement efficient workflows for creation, review, approval, and versioning of assets
- Manage relationships with external vendors, motion studios, freelancers, and production partners
- Oversee proper organization, archiving, and maintenance of assets, source files, and visual libraries
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with editorial, programming, content, marketing, digital, and operations teams
- Participate in briefings and contribute visual solutions for campaigns, shows and special projects
- Support live broadcasts and production teams with rapid design needs and real-time graphics
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Lead and mentor designers, motion designers, and other visual professionals
- Foster a creative, collaborative, and innovation-driven team culture
- Provide continuous feedback, artistic direction, and technical guidance
What you'll bring
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, Motion Design, or related fields
- Strong experience in design for TV, broadcast, sports media, creative studios, or agencies
- Proven track record in developing complete graphic packages and visual identities for shows
- Experience with motion graphics workflows, post-production, and broadcast environments
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere)
- Knowledge of 3D software (Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar) is a strong plus
- Experience creating animations, transitions, and broadcast graphic elements
- Understanding of playout requirements, resolutions, formats, and templates for TV
- Familiarity with digital design principles for social media and short-form content
- Inspirational leadership and the ability to guide creative teams
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and rigorous attention to detail
- Excellent organization and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear communication skills and the ability to translate concepts into visual solutions
