Science Content Writer - Freelance

Location: Remote 

Term: Freelance - minimum regular commitment of 10 hours a week.

Salary: £20 per hour.

Closing Date: 17th April 2026.

About the role:

Sparx Science, our newest product, is already helping over 1100 schools and nearly a million students. It builds student confidence and independence by transforming challenge into understanding using adaptive support and purposeful practice

We’re looking for freelance contributors to help our team create high-quality content that supports students to think critically and engage more deeply with science.

About you: 

The essentials:  

• You have a strong understanding of the English Science curriculum, preferably evidenced by teaching or tutoring experience.
• You have an A-level or a degree in a relevant scientific field.
• You are an excellent written communicator with great attention to detail. 
• You are digitally literate and able to quickly pick up new software for content writing.
• You can work flexibly and remotely, with access to a laptop or computer.

We are ideally looking for Physics and/or Chemistry specialists to join our team, but we are accepting applications from any suitable candidate.
