Ongoing Monitoring Team Lead (Late Shift)

Hours: 14:00 - 22:00
Position Overview:
The Ongoing Monitoring Team Lead is responsible for leading the Ongoing Monitoring team to ensure effective and efficient client service. The Ongoing Monitoring Team Lead is required to understand all relevant AML/CFT laws to carry out this function and act as a knowledge base for other staff.
Responsibilities:
People
- Recruit and retain productive staff who adapt well to the Sonata One culture.
- Monitor and maximize the productivity of all Ongoing Monitoring staff.
- Ensure that all Ongoing Monitoring staff are working within the specified processes.
- Interact with clients, lawyers, investors and administrators effectively and professionally.
- Work with the Head of Operations to identify and support the productivity and training needs of colleagues and, occasionally, clients within agreed timescales.
- Actively encourage a culture of continuous improvement through new ideas.
- Clearly own the Ongoing Monitoring service line in the view of clients and your team members.
Process
- Ensure that all Ongoing Monitoring activity reflects a defined process and is undertaken within its parameters. Continuously improve the efficiency, control and client and/or Investor service of the Fund Closing service line.
- Act as the central point of contact for all procedural questions relating to the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
- Act as the central point of contact for all AML queries within the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
System
- Maximize the use of technology in all Ongoing Monitoring processes in order to control risk and improve efficiency. Understand the system design and how it is applied.
- Suggest technology improvements in pursuit of efficiency.
- Act as the central point of contact for Sonata One process maps and guides relating to the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
Management
- Control daily Ongoing Monitoring work allocation in a transparent and efficient manner.
- Measure and report Ongoing Monitoring staff performances using well considered indicators.
- Act as central contact for review of high-risk profiles and more complex senior reviews in the Ongoing Monitoring service line.
Qualifications:
- Technical expertise in KYC

- Coaching & Mentoring
- Communication skills that including conflict resolution
- Leadership including but not limited to setting clear goals, decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Law or Finance
