The Role…

We are looking for a Junior Trade Sales Associate to support our growing global Soho Home Trade Programme. The Junior Trade Sales Associate will support our regional trade account managers in London, New York, and LA by vetting trade applicants, onboarding trade buyers into our system, and assisting with order support. We are a growing team and looking for an organized, enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and can-do spirit. This is an exciting opportunity with lots of potential for growth.

This is a client-facing role and will require creative problem-solving skills and a sense of urgency. Prior customer service experience a plus. The role will encompass both administrative and sales responsibilities.

Main Duties...

Manage queue of incoming sales enquires and trade applications
Vet trade applications and create trade accounts for approved users
Conduct onboarding and discovery calls with new users to welcome them to the trade program, introduce clients to our benefits and services, and identify opportunities for sales.
Guide news users through their first purchase, ensuring a positive and smooth experience.
Manage large orders for clients by liaising internally with warehouse, delivery and export teams

What We Are Looking For…

Highly organized, detail oriented, customer obsessed, self-starter
Experience managing pipeline of sales opportunities and conducting customer needs analysis
Experience working with clients in-person and remotely via phone, email and Zoom
Experience using Salesforce and other CRM tools as well as Microsoft Office and Google suites
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with a natural inclination for client services
Positive attitude, comfortable working with ambiguity and happy to be in a start-up environment where priorities and responsibilities can shift day-to-day
Love of working with people and building relationships
Knowledge about and experience with the interior design and architecture industry a major plus
