Our customer is an innovative company that utilizes state-of-the-art technology to assist in the care of elderly people. By using predictive algorithms, AI, and IoT home devices, the ecosystem creates an interactive tool that enables care services to better understand and support each elderly individual.

Type of cooperation: Full-time, remote

Location: Latin America 

Your responsibilities on the project will be:

• Collaborate with development and product teams to align testing with features and timelines, contributing to early planning and ongoing quality checks.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans using Confluence, Jira, and Xray, covering manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and APIs.
• Investigate edge cases, validate client-server interactions, and ensure robustness through detailed test coverage.
• Monitor results, report issues, and support resolution throughout the development lifecycle, continuously improving QA processes.
• Support the team in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving quality issues throughout the development lifecycle and production issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and processes.

You can be part of the following team:  5 people (Full Stack Developers, Automation Engineer, QA), will work closely with PM

🕹Tools we use: Jira, Confluence, Git, Figma

Our requirements for you:

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a QA engineer, with a strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices for manual testing (automation is an advantage).
• You have experience with web application testing and mobile testing.
•  Familiarity with testing tools like Postman and API testing is essential.
• You have hands-on experience working with Xray for test case management, tracking bugs, and ensuring test coverage.
• Experience with SQL & Databases: You have experience with SQL and relational databases (Postgres experience is an advantage).
• You are thorough in your testing, ensuring that edge cases are handled appropriately.
• Able to work according to the Austin, Texas time zone(UTC−06:00, Central Time (CT)
