Softermii is currently looking for a Part-time UX/UI Designer (4 hours per day) for a For internal tasks and potential projects.

📲Рotential Projects: 

Project 1.

A public safety mobile application (iOS and Android) designed to discreetly protect users during dating, social outings, and nightlife activities. The platform offers proactive safety tools, real-time location sharing, emergency response features, and community support — all with a strong focus on discretion and ease of use.

Social value: enhancing personal safety in everyday life and fostering a sense of security during social interactions.

 

Project 2.

A planning and scheduling application for the healthcare domain that helps users organize their shifts, track working hours, and manage billing and invoicing. Available for both Android and iOS, the product provides a visually simple and intuitive way for healthcare professionals to balance their work and personal lives while enabling facilities to efficiently manage staffing needs and optimize daily operations.

⚡️Your responsibilities on the project will be:

• Produce design artifacts. Shape your knowledge into materials that will underpin your solutions in front of the client and the project team. This could be screen maps, personas, customer journey maps, wireframes and everything which you believe is relevant and needed.
• Visualize your solutions with clean & clear appealing UI designs that effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Communicate. Show strong communication and collaboration skills, adaptability, empathy for users, problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous learning, all of which are crucial for presenting and advocating for user-centric design solutions within cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate. We appreciate sharing thoughts, concerns, feedback and advice because it polishes our solutions. Whether it is a regular demo call with the client, a casual brainstorm with fellow designers or research with the developer — use it to make your product consistent and technically realistic.
• Take part in pre-sales. Apart from the mere creation of budget & timing estimation, this is your first contact with a potential client. It is when you can demonstrate that you understand their problem, know how to solve it, and are capable to do so. As a result, you may get to be the one who solves yet another interesting puzzle.
• Optimize processes. In our workflow between the design and the development team we follow the agile process. Have ideas on how to improve it? Great! Go ahead, move things around if you know that it is bound to benefit both sides and bring maximum effect.
• Stay curious and hungry. It is crucial that you stay abreast of trends in design, technology and user experience. Share what you know and make an impact
• Take a part in Marketing campaign - prepare Design for materials, web-site landing pages for the events, banners for events anouncements, etc.

🗞Our requirements to you:

Experience & Portfolio:

• At least 2 years of commercial experience as a UX/UI Designer in an IT company.
• Proven portfolio showcasing design concepts, branding, interface prototypes, websites, mobile apps, and results of your design process.
• Experience in competitor and market research.

Technical Skills & Tools:

• Strong proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
• Experience with component libraries (e.g., ShadCN, Material UI, or similar).
• Experience in creating and maintaining design systems and style guides.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience in responsive design, including designing breakpoints for various devices (web, mobile, tablet).

Design Principles & Approach:

• Deep understanding of modern UX principles and user-centered design methodology.
• Ability to independently create creative, intuitive, and visually appealing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thinking both creatively and strategically.

Communication & Collaboration:

• Conversational English (B2 Upper-Intermediate) with experience in direct client communication.
• Ability to present and justify design decisions, defend project positions, and find solutions during discussions.
• Excellent skills in building relationships with development teams, stakeholders, and users.
• Understanding of how to collaborate and interact with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Professional Growth:

• Proactive attitude toward continuous learning and improvement, staying updated on industry trends to enhance design quality and user experience.
