Mid-Level System Engineer

About the job

We are looking for a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our platform team. In this role, you will play a critical part in the design, deployment, and maintenance of our Linux-based environments, while automating infrastructure and configuration management with Ansible.

This is a hands-on technical role that demands a deep understanding of Linux systems, experience with infrastructure automation, and a strong sense of ownership and reliability.

This means you will:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure Linux-based infrastructure (RHEL & Alma)
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks and roles to automate system configuration and software deployments. 
• Collaborate with DevOps to streamline infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and availability.
• Implement and maintain system security and compliance standards.
• Document processes, system configurations, and standard operating procedures

What else is expected: 

A few years experience with some of the following technologies:

• Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration (RHEL, Alma). 
• Proficient in Ansible for automation, configuration management, and orchestration. 
• Experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker, Podman).
• Familiarity with system monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security best practices.
• Knowledge of Windows server and Active Directory

Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
