From our Porto office, we are expanding our team with multiple Kubernetes Cloud Platform Engineers. In this role, you will design and automate cloud-native environments using Kubernetes, Azure, Terraform, and Ansible to support global automotive leaders. Additionally, you will drive infrastructure modernization and ensure high system reliability through advanced monitoring.

What you’ll do...

• Design & Manage: Build environments and microservices using Kubernetes, Azure, and on-premise infrastructure.
• Automate Everything: Utilize Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps workflows.
• Monitor & Troubleshoot: Maintain global environments using OpsGenie, Prometheus, Grafana, FluentBit, and Loki.
• Consult & Support: Help customers and internal Sofico teams solve complex technical challenges.
• Modernize Infrastructure: Transform legacy components into scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Share Knowledge: Mentor peers and contribute to engineering standards across the company.

What you bring...

• Tech Stack: Proven experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Linux, and a major cloud provider (preferably Azure or AWS).
• Databases & Networks: Familiar with Oracle/MS SQL and core networking concepts (DNS, Firewalls).
• Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Consultative Mindset: Comfortable hopping on customer calls, asking the right questions, and resolving issues.
