Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) Verification Staff
Summary
The ICA Verification Staff plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) documentation for a new eVTOL aircraft. This position is responsible for a thorough review and verification of all ICA content against engineering data, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements. The role requires a meticulous and detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of aircraft systems and airworthiness standards.
Responsibilities
- Verification and Validation: Meticulously review and verify ICA content, including maintenance manuals, repair manuals, and wiring diagrams. This involves cross-referencing against source engineering data (drawings, models, test reports), maintenance task analysis, and system specifications.
- Compliance Review: Ensure that all ICA procedures and instructions comply with the relevant airworthiness regulations and standards (e.g., FAA, EASA, TC).
- Discrepancy Reporting: Identify and document any inconsistencies, errors, or omissions in the ICA data. Work with the engineering, technical publications, and program teams to resolve these discrepancies and ensure corrections are implemented.
- Change Management: Manage the verification process for ICA revisions and updates, ensuring that all changes are accurately reflected and properly documented.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the ICA verification process to increase efficiency and maintain a high level of data quality.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing verification records and explaining the methodology used to ensure ICA accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related technical field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, technical publications, or an airworthiness role.
- Proven experience in reviewing and verifying technical documents such as maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings.
- Strong familiarity with airworthiness regulations (e.g., FAR Part 21/23/25, EASA Part 21/CS-23/25).
- Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering data and technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with eVTOL or AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) aircraft.
- Knowledge of the ATA (Air Transport Association) 100/2200 standards.
- Experience with authoring software (e.g., FrameMaker) or Content Management Systems (CMS).
- An FAA A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) license or equivalent

- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture

- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- In the case of flextime: No core time
- Discretionary Labor System: Specialized Class Deemed working hours per day: 10 hours
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
- Overtime Work: Available
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)

Salary
- Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 6,850,000 - JPY 11,500,000
- Monthly Salary: JPY 571,000 - JPY 959,000
- Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 197,680 - JPY 331,997
*Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
