HILS (Hardware in the Loop Simulation) Test Engineer

We are pioneering the future of air mobility and are looking for a skilled HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) Test Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for building, managing, and executing our HIL test environment, which is critical for the rigorous verification of our eVTOL's electronic systems.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the construction and operation of our HIL test systems, from initial setup to full-scale operation.
  • Break down system requirements to create detailed test specifications and comprehensive test scenarios for the EUT (Equipment Under Test).
  • Conduct system-level testing using the HIL environment and perform in-depth failure analysis to identify root causes and countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with related departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient process management.
  • Utilize your expertise in MATLAB/Simulink to support system modeling and simulation.
  • Play a key role in ensuring our eVTOL's electronic devices meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in building and operating HIL test environments.
  • Experience with software evaluation and testing within a HIL context.
  • Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience in the full process, from requirements analysis to creating test scenarios.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with dSPACE systems (SCALEXIO, ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, AutomationDesk).
  • Experience in embedded software development.
  • Proficiency with Python or VBA macros.
  • Experience with LabVIEW or creating test harnesses.
  • Familiarity with CANalyzer and circuit design.

Type of Employment

  • Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
  • Probationary period: 3~6 month

Place of Employment

  • Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
  • Toyota Test Field - Asuke, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture
  • Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)

Working Hours

  • Flextime or Discretionary labor system
  • Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)

Holidays

  • 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
  • Annual paid leave
  • Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)

Salary

  • Estimated Annual Salary: JPY 5,440,000 - JPY 10,280,000
  • Monthly Salary: JPY 454,000 - JPY 857,000
    • Includes fixed overtime pay for 45 hours, amounting to JPY 157,173 - JPY 296,697
      *Additional overtime pay will be provided for hours exceeding the fixed overtime.
  • To be determined based on skills, experience, and abilities
