EWIS Certification Engineer
Outline of the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled EWIS Certification Engineer to support the certification and compliance activities for aircraft electrical wiring systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, regulatory compliance, and certification processes in accordance with JCAB, FAA, EASA, and other international aviation authorities.
Key Responsibility

Develop and execute certification plans for EWIS in accordance with 14 CFR Part 25, CS-25, and other relevant regulations.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FAA AC 25.1701-1, EASA CS-25, and ARP 4761/4754A.

Perform functional hazard assessments, failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and zonal safety analysis (ZSA) related to wiring systems.

Review and validate EWIS-related engineering documentation, including wiring diagrams, harness routing, and installation drawings.

Support design reviews, risk assessments, and certification audits as required.

Provide technical guidance on wiring separation, protection, and installation practices to ensure regulatory compliance.

Work collaboratively with aircraft OEMs, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve certification milestones.

Develop and maintain certification reports, compliance checklists, and substantiation documents.
Essential Skills
-
Minimum 5+ years of experience in EWIS certification, electrical systems engineering, or related aerospace disciplines.

In-depth knowledge of FAA, JCAB, and other regulatory certification processes.

Experience with DO-160, DO-254, and DO-178
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD) and electrical design tools.

Experience working with aircraft OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or MRO organizations.

Knowledge of aircraft wiring harness design, routing, and EMI/EMC considerations.

Type of Employment
- Permanent Employee or Contract Employee
- Probationary period: 3~6 month
Place of Employment
- Nagoya Airport Office: Nagoya Airport Terminal Building 2nd floor, Toyoba, Toyoyama-Cho, Nishikasugai, Aichi Prefecture
- Scope of Change: Places determined by the Company (including places where telework is performed)
Working Hours
- Flextime or Discretionary labor system
- Basic working hours: Start 9:00 End 18:00(Including 1hour break time)
Holidays
- 115 days off per year(Saturday / Sundays / Newyear holidays(12/29~1/3) / Company designated holidays)
- Annual paid leave
- Refresh leave (Granted after 1, 3, 4, 5 years of service)
Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 monthly installments (including fixed overtime allowance)
