We believe that true security stems from relentless innovation. By combining elite engineering talent with agile technology and an AI-native operational culture, Stark turns complex defence challenges into field-tested, multi-domain solutions.

WHY JOIN US

  • The software and systems you work on directly protect personnel and defend European and national sovereignty.
  • You will work alongside industry-leading minds on autonomous systems, advanced propulsion, and secure cyber platforms.
  • We foster a fast-paced, collaborative environment where bold ideas are supported by serious R&D backing.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Our Logistics Operations team is the backbone of the site, ensuring that material flows seamlessly from supplier intake all the way to production and final customer shipment. Reporting directly to the Teamlead Logistics Operations, you will act as the operational anchor on the shop floor across alternating early and late shifts. We work closely together in a dynamic, hands-on environment driven by safety, high quality, and schedule adherence. In this role, you will lead shift members functionally to keep processes stable, eliminate bottlenecks, and ensure every area hits its operational targets.

YOUR MISSION

As Schichtleiter Logistik / Shift Lead Logistics, you ensure the daily operational excellence of our warehouse and supply chain during the early and late shifts. You will provide functional guidance to the shift team across Inbound, Outbound, Kitting/Inventory Management, and Production Supply to guarantee OTIF delivery and zero-defect quality. By identifying operational bottlenecks early and taking swift corrective action, you safeguard continuous material flow directly to our production lines and end customers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AT STARK

  • Guide and coordinate the shop-floor team functionally across early and late shifts to balance daily workload and achieve shift performance targets.
  • Steer incoming goods operations (Inbound) to ensure compliant goods inspection, timely booking, and correct put-away into storage.
  • Coordinate outbound logistics activities (Outbound), ensuring all picking, packing, and dispatch processes meet customer shipping deadlines.
  • Oversee the kitting area and daily inventory management to maintain high inventory record accuracy and defect-free pre-assembly kits.
  • Ensure reliable, on-time material supply to the manufacturing lines (Produktionsversorgung) to prevent assembly stoppages.
  • Monitor critical logistics KPIs (quality rates, throughput times, delivery reliability) and execute root-cause analyses on operational deviations.
  • Conduct thorough shift handovers to ensure continuity of material flow, open order transparency, and safety critical updates between shifts.
  • Enforce strict adherence to warehouse safety policies, 5S workplace organization standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE MISSION

  • Completed vocational training in logistics (e.g., Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik, Fachlagerist) or a comparable operational qualification.
  • Proven operational track record in warehousing, including hands-on experience in Inbound, Outbound, and Production Supply.
  • Demonstrated experience in functional team steering, shift coordination, or acting as a deputy shift lead / Vorarbeiter.
  • Solid working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software (e.g., SAP WM/EWM).
  • Willingness and ability to work in an alternating 2-shift model (early and late shift).
  • Professional working proficiency in German (spoken and written) for shop-floor steering, shift documentation, and handover alignment.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Further qualification as a certified logistics master (Logistikmeister) or technical specialist (Fachwirt).
  • Practical experience with Lean Logistics methods (5S, Gemba, Shopfloor Management, Kaizen/KVP).
  • Valid forklift license (Flurfördermittelschein) with hands-on reach-truck or counterbalance experience.
  • Communicative English skills for multinational warehouse environments or global ticket systems.

If you're interested in building the future of European Defence with us, and you see yourself reflected on the description above, please send us your CV in English. We're looking forward to meeting you!
