About the Graduate Scheme
Our comprehensive graduate scheme will provide you with hands-on experience in two key areas of actuarial work, pricing and reserving.
Pricing: You will work alongside underwriters advising on pricing for large individual deals. You will learn how to develop and refine pricing models to ensure we understand the profitability of our products. This involves analyzing data, assessing risks, and collaborating with various departments to create effective pricing strategies.
Reserving: Gain insights into the process of setting aside reserves to cover future claims. You will work with experienced actuaries to estimate liabilities and ensure that our financial statements accurately reflect our obligations.

Key dates
- Monday, 24th November: Role opens
- Monday, 5th January: Last day to apply
- Friday, 9th January: Top 15 candidates will be asked to complete a brief video introduction
- Tuesday, 27th January: Assessment Day – Top 6 candidates will be invited to the assessment day in our offices. It will be held in person at our office: Floor 3, 33 Gracechurch Street, London, EC3V 0BT. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Assessment day schedule:
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: First round of interviews
- 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch with current grad scheme actuaries
- 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM: Second round of interviews
- Total duration: 5 hours (including a one-hour break)
START DATE FOR THE SCHEME: First week of September
