Role Overview

We are looking for a Middleware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining middleware solutions that connect applications, services, and systems. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless, efficient, and secure communication across the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop, and manage middleware components, APIs, and integration flows.
  • Work with integration frameworks and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, MuleSoft, WSO2).
  • Collaborate with development and architecture teams to define and implement enterprise integration solutions.
  • Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of integration layers.
  • Identify and resolve issues in messaging systems, API gateways, and service orchestration.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation.
  • Stay up to date with emerging middleware technologies and integration best practices.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3+ years of experience as a Middleware Engineer, Integration Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of message brokers or integration platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, WSO2, MuleSoft, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, event-driven architecture, pub/sub, microservices).
  • Experience with API design, API gateways, and authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Proficiency in languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Python for building integration components.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
