The Role in a Nutshell  

We are looking for a Technical Bid Manager to lead and coordinate the development of high-quality, competitive technical proposals for complex tenders and RFPs. You will act as the central point of contact for all technical inputs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, internal capabilities, and compliance standards. Your goal is to deliver compelling bids that increase our win rate and support business growth.

 

Your Day-to-Day  

  • Lead the end-to-end management of technical bids, from initial opportunity analysis through to submission.
  • Analyze customer requirements and RFP documentation to define scope, identify risks, and create bid strategies.
  • Coordinate input from engineering, product, delivery, and commercial teams to produce technically accurate and compelling proposals.
  • Create and maintain bid documentation including technical solutions, delivery models, resource planning, risk assessments, and compliance matrices.
  • Ensure proposals meet technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Facilitate reviews, approvals, and sign-offs with internal stakeholders.

 

Your Key Strengths

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in bid management, technical pre-sales, or solution architecture, preferably in [industry, e.g., IT, telecom, defense, construction].
  • Proven track record of delivering successful technical bids for large-scale or complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of solution design, systems integration, and project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
