The Role in a Nutshell  

As an Automation Tester, you'll use your experience and technical expertise to make your mark in our software development life cycle. You’ll take the lead in enhancing the quality of our code, integrating automated testing techniques, and ensuring seamless operations. You’ll work in collaboration with development teams to design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks while continually identifying areas for improvement.

 

Your Day-to-Day 

🔹Review and analyze user stories and acceptance criteria and develop effective test plans and automated tests in collaboration with the development team

🔹Understand the flow of code and how it interacts with different components

🔹Maintain, enhance, and perform test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, building robust scenarios and acceptance tests

🔹Regularly report on testing progress, identifying bugs early and quickly

🔹Research the latest tools, methodologies, and trends, upgrading existing practices as needed

 

Your Key Strengths

🔹Strong quality assurance background with proven test automation skills and frameworks

🔹3+ years of professional experience, including API testing and building test automation tools

🔹Proficiency in Python, C#, TypeScript, or similar languages

🔹SQL knowledge and experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ 

🔹Familiarity with Git, command-line tools, and industry-standard CI tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Circle CI

🔹Working knowledge of Docker and experience in Agile environments (Scrum) is a plus
