The Role in a Nutshell
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance processes. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of accounting principles and a strong willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. You will work closely with experienced team members to support the daily operations of the finance department. The role includes, but is not limited to, assisting with invoicing, payment tracking, account reconciliation, and supporting tax and payroll processes, offering broad exposure to various finance functions and valuable on-the-job learning.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Record and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage payments and monitor financial transactions.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounting records using the double-entry system.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax and financial statements.
  • Support payroll processing and insurance obligations, if required.
  • Collaborate with external partners, including banks, public authorities, and auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting and taxation laws.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Up to 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance-related role (internships or part-time work also considered).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Interest in learning about tax and labor regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to develop professionally.
