Tasks

We’re a team of experienced developers, QA, product owner and project manager, who collaborate in a professional and friendly atmosphere to create sustainable high-quality software solutions. Our team, Sedo Parking Development, specializes in providing services to park domains and developing solutions for report aggregation, in cooperation with other teams such as data analysis and fraud prevention.

Our Parking application and background tasks are based on PHP, MySQL and Scribe. Newly developed features are deployed into our private cloud solution based on Kubernetes, using standardised CI/CD workflows. We use Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch and Kibana for metrics monitoring and logging.

We are looking for a motivated software engineer who will join our Parking team. As a valued member of our team you will be responsible for: 

• Design and development of new and enhancement of existing features to solve challenging product requirements.
• Defense against recurring complex DDoS attacks.
• Permanent and consistent optimization of our statistic generating algorithms.
• Participation in the design of our software architectures and choosing the most suitable technology stack.
• Active participation in agile work processes.

Qualifications

• Interest in new technologies while using and growing with our existing tech stack.
• Several years of in-depth experience in PHP backend development.
• Knowledge in database design and query optimization.
• Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, pragmatism, creativity and reliability.
• Fluent English skills; being fluent in German is a plus.
• Successfully completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
