At Sedna, potential, curiosity, and a growth mindset matter as much as experience. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who’s excited to learn SaaS renewals and deal desk fundamentals while contributing to meaningful work in global trade.
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Have a learning mindset: You’re eager to pick up renewal workflows, pricing concepts, and the mechanics of B2B SaaS deals with guidance and training.
- Are organised and detail-oriented: You can manage checklists, keep dates straight, and follow processes precisely—especially when working with contracts and quotes.
- Are comfortable with numbers: You like working in spreadsheets and can interpret basic metrics (e.g., renewal dates, seat counts, ARR/MRR, simple deltas).
- Communicate clearly: You write concise emails, take thorough notes, and ask good questions—internally and with customers.
- Collaborate well: You enjoy working with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal, and you’re not afraid to reach out to unblock a task.
- Use (or can quickly learn) common tooling: You have basic familiarity with CRM or business tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Sheets, Excel). Experience with CLM tools (e.g., Juro) is a plus but not required.
- Care about doing things the right way: You follow playbooks, respect approval paths, and help keep our data clean and contracts compliant.
- Are proactive: You spot small issues early (e.g., upcoming expiries, usage overages) and flag them to the right people with suggested next steps.
- Are curious about our domain: Interest in SaaS, pricing/packaging, or global trade/logistics is a bonus—no prior industry experience required.
If you’re excited about the mission and meet most of the above, we’d love to hear from you—even if you don’t tick every box.
