Quantitative Research Analyst

Our team includes world-class traders and analysts, supported by experts in physics, data science, and software engineering. Together, we design and continuously improve a state-of-the-art trading platform with mathematical models, including integration of new data sources such as the operational characteristics of U.S. power generation and transmission infrastructure
We are currently hiring Congestion Analysts with strong backgrounds in power flow modeling, economics, statistics, or data science to help us expand our presence in U.S. power markets.
What would you work on?
- Continuous improvement of existing predictive models and their adjustment in fast-evolving markets.
- Development of new strategies mostly for FTR, Day-Ahead and Term trading.
- Close collaboration with Traders, Core Analytics Departments, and dedicated Python Developers enhancing your efficiency.
- Integrating our trading strategies with physical assets.
What makes you a great candidate?
- Experience with data analysis, machine learning, Python, and its data science toolkit.
- Passion for developing and working with autonomous trading systems.
- Excellent academic results and degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Excellent hard skills, fast pragmatic thinking, and coding.
- Curiosity, an open mind, and the ability to solve ambiguously defined real-life tasks.
- Previous experience with power flow modeling is an advantage.
