Bitdefender is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join the Consumer / B2B2C area. In this role, you will design partner-facing cloud solutions that connect Bitdefender platforms, products, and external partner systems used by ISPs, telcos, OEMs, and other B2B2C partners.

You will work at the intersection of partner requirements, product capabilities, and engineering delivery. Your mission will be to turn complex business and technical needs into clear, feasible, scalable, and secure solutions that can be delivered and operated efficiently. When concepts are uncertain, you will also use rapid prototyping, AI-assisted exploration, and data gathering to validate the right direction before full delivery starts.

What you will do

• Work with partners and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, constraints, dependencies, and expected outcomes.

• Design end-to-end integration solutions across partner-facing systems, platform services, product-specific services, and shared cloud capabilities.

• Build or guide rapid prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and technical spikes when needed to validate assumptions, gather data, and de-risk solution decisions.

• Use AI tools effectively and responsibly to accelerate prototype creation, explore implementation options, generate test data or harnesses, and validate concepts.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, SRE, and service owners to validate assumptions, align on trade-offs, and reach agreement on the solution.

• Create and maintain clear solution documentation, including context, requirements, affected systems, integration flows, risks, assumptions, rollout considerations, and operational expectations.

• Present technical solutions to partners and guide them toward implementation approaches that are sustainable for both sides.

• Hand over approved solutions to delivery teams and support implementation with clarification, design validation, and architectural guidance.

• Identify inconsistent, outdated, or high-cost design decisions and advocate for improvements that make the overall system easier to evolve, support, and operate.

What we are looking for

• Experience in solution architecture, software architecture, or senior technical design roles in cloud-based environments.

• Strong hands-on technical background with Node.js, JavaScript / TypeScript, NoSQL databases, and event-driven systems

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, APIs, identity flows, provisioning, subscriptions, telemetry, observability, resilience, and secure design.

• AI fluency: ability to use AI tools effectively and responsibly to accelerate prototyping, data gathering, test generation, documentation, and concept validation.

• Experience designing integrations that span multiple systems, teams, and external partner APIs.

• Ability to balance partner needs, engineering effort, time to market, operational risk, and long-term platform health.

• Strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly to both internal teams and external partners.

• Ability to influence without formal authority and align stakeholders with different priorities.

• Pragmatic judgment, ownership mindset, and willingness to challenge inconsistent or fragile architecture patterns when needed.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

Nice to haves:

• Experience working in B2B2C partner integration environments (with ISPs, OEMs, or any other environment)

• Familiarity with cloud operations, CI/CD, monitoring, alerting, incident analysis, and release / change management
