
Senior Executive, Engagement (1-Year Contract)

YOUR ROLE:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engagement, you will play a key role in building and empowering a vibrant community of youths, fostering strategic collaborations, and optimising *SCAPE’s physical spaces to support youth development.
YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
Business Development & Partnership
- Help build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that partnerships align with *SCAPE's mission and contribute to long-term collaboration.
- Assist in tracking and evaluating the success of engagement activities, gathering data and feedback to support improvements.
- Provide support for event logistics, working with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and helping to resolve any issues that arise during events.
- Support Advertising & Promotion (A&P) activities by working with the marketing team on campaigns, tenant communications, and managing tenant directories and notices.
- Support the organisation’s youth engagement mission by working with other programming colleagues to identify and work with youth-orientated enterprises to host events at venues.
- Assist in attracting and engaging potential advertisers to drive advertising revenue and contribute to content management tasks.
Tenant & Lease Management
- Support the management of tenant relationships across retail and institutional spaces, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
- Work closely with the Estate Team to coordinate maintenance, facilities support, and operational matters, while assisting in resolving tenant concerns or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the administration and monitoring of tenancy matters, including preparation of tenancy-related documents, coordination of lease agreements, and ensuring compliance with operational guidelines.
- Support tenant engagement initiatives by maintaining regular communication with tenants, gathering feedback,and identifying opportunities to enhance tenant satisfaction and collaboration within the *SCAPE ecosystem.
- Assist the Head of Department in managing strategic collaboration partners and tenants, including following up on discussions, coordinating agreements, and tracking key deliverables and commitments.
- Monitor tenant activities and space utilisation to ensure alignment with *SCAPE’s programming objectives and youth engagement mission
Youth Community Outreach and Advocacy Initiatives
- Help build vibrant youth communities by supporting their involvement in collaborating, leading, and managing spaces and activities at *SCAPE, while fostering a sense of belonging and commitment to *SCAPE.
- Assist in creating and implementing plans to engage new communities that are not currently connected with *SCAPE.
WHO YOU ARE:
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in engagement, partnership or business development
- Team player with good networking, communication, and interpersonal skills to be able to work with a diverse set of people including staff, commercial and non-commercial partners.
- Good comprehension of current youth consumer trends
- Tactful and diplomatic with a proven ability to negotiate and resolve conflict
- Good interpersonal skills to establish connections with different internal and external stakeholders, and to possess the ability to persuade, motivate and influence these stakeholders to better meet the strategic goals of *SCAPE and MCCY.
- Positive attitude with high degree of professionalism, creativity, and resourcefulness.
