Senior Manager, Programming

YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
Programming Curation
- Manage and provide guidance to deliver a diverse range of programmes, events, and activities that engage *SCAPE's target audiences (e.g. youth, creatives, community members).
- Lead and manage the logistics, budgets, and operations of *SCAPE-driven programmes, events, and activities, from booking venues to coordinating vendors and volunteers, review quotations and invoices, project manage and problem solve.
- Support the Head of Department in evaluating the performance and impact of *SCAPE's programming and make data-driven improvements to enhance the participant and audience experience.
- Support the Head of Department in improving internal processes to facilitate smooth execution of programmes, events, and activities, build trust within the organisation and make it easier for internal and external stakeholders to work together and contribute as placemakers for *SCAPE.
Programming Partnerships and Sponsorships
- Support the Head of Department in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with local organisations, businesses, and influencers to co-create unique programmes, events, and activities.
- Manage and provide guidance to the team to execute *SCAPE’s overall strategy for placemaking and activating our spaces at *SCAPE, including oversight on visitor / user journey and overall experiences.
- Manage the relationships and contractual agreements with *SCAPE's programming partners and sponsors.
Community Engagement
- Work closely to engage with *SCAPE's diverse community of users, residents, and stakeholders to understand their interests, needs, and pain points.
- Provide guidance on developing programming that fosters a sense of belonging, empowerment, and civic engagement within the local community.
- Engage with community partners within and outside of *SCAPE.
- Collaborate with the Engagement team to amplify *SCAPE's impact and reach through community initiatives and outreach efforts.
- Support the Head of Department in community outreach, development, engagement, and retention efforts by developing and nurturing a vibrant
ecosystem of partners and youth networks.
Team Management & Internal Collaboration
- Support the Head of Department to coach and guide the team on developing long-term and interdisciplinary skills sets, as well as improving collaborations within the organisation as well as external partnerships.
- Collaborate with the HR team to support talent attraction, retention, and culture-building.
- Provide training and resources to help employees effectively represent the *SCAPE brand and engage with external stakeholders.
- Strategise the sharing of best practices, success stories, and other valuable information among internal teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of *SCAPE's overall strategic plan and vision.
WHO YOU ARE:
- At least 6 years of relevant working experience, preferably with at least 2-5 years of experience in managing teams, activating communities, and coordinating community events.
- Team player with excellent networking, communication, and interpersonal skills to be able to work with a diverse set of people including staff, commercial and non-commercial partners
- Good comprehension of current youth trends and strong commercial awareness
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish connections with different internal and external stakeholders, and to possess the ability to persuade, motivate and influence these stakeholders to better meet the strategic goals of *SCAPE and MCCY.
- Positive attitude with high degree of professionalism, creativity, and resourcefulness.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience managing multiple projects at a time.
