Assistant Manager, Digitalisation & IT Ops

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Digitalisation & IT Ops, you will manage our IT infrastructure, oversee daily IT operations, manage resources, and drive continuous improvements within the IT department and *SCAPE team. Working with all teams, you will support the integration of emerging technologies, optimise IT processes, and foster a culture of continuous learning and technology adoption.

YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:

IT Operations & Cybersecurity

• Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure including network, systems, software and application, data storage and backup, and security.
• Serve as single point of contact for all matters related to IT operations and helpdesk.
• Manage IT assets procurement and inventory, including tracking and disposal.
• Lead the digitalisation efforts in the infrastructure domain.
• Conduct IT training for end users.
• Assist in budget planning and paper writing.

IT Policies & Administration

• Manage vendors and oversee project/maintenance service contracts as well as software licenses.
• Develop and maintain the IT policies. Lead the implementation of IT policies and standard operating procedures.
• Lead the IT disaster recovery and IT/data incident management.

Team Management & Internal Collaboration

• Support the Head of Department to coach and guide the team on developing interdisciplinary skills sets.
• Strategise the sharing of best practices, success stories, and other valuable information among internal teams and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of *SCAPE's overall strategic plan and vision.

WHO YOU ARE:

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience, and relevant educational qualifications related to IT Ops management, with ITIL certification or related.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations principles.
• Prior experience with cloud-based IT infrastructure.
• Able to work independently, with prior experience managing multiple projects is a plus.
• Project management certification and budget management experience is a plus.
• ITIL certification or related a plus.
