
Manager, Engagement (2-years contract)

YOUR ROLE:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engagement, you will play a key role in building and empowering a vibrant community of youths, fostering strategic collaborations, and optimising *SCAPE’s physical spaces to support youth development.
YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
- Develop and implement youth engagement initiatives that provide meaningful opportunities for youths to participate, collaborate, and contribute to programmes and activities.
- Build and maintain partnerships with Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs), serving as the key liaison to coordinate collaborations, learning journeys, and student engagement opportunities.
- Plan, organise, and manage structured learning journeys in collaboration with educational institutions, ensuring alignment with learning objectives and a positive participant experience.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver coordinated and impactful engagement programmes.
- Plan and manage exhibitions that showcase youth initiatives, programmes, and opportunities, including content development, coordination of logistics, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Facilitate exhibition tours, sharing sessions, or interactive segments for visiting groups and youth participants.
- Coordinate resources, schedules, and operational requirements to ensure smooth implementation of engagement programmes and exhibitions.
- Monitor participation levels and engagement outcomes and prepare reports to support evaluation and future planning.
- Support the development of new engagement initiatives and partnerships that strengthen organisational outreach and impact.
WHO YOU ARE:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience with youth, stakeholder and community management, or related fields.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect, build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Good project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Problem-solving abilities, with a track record of developing innovative approaches to stakeholders and community engagement.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used computer software applications.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for stakeholder engagement, communication and collaboration.
