Senior Executive, Planning & Governance

YOUR ROLE:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Planning & Governance, you will be supporting the teams at *SCAPE to (1) develop a comprehensive strategic plan that aligns objectives and actions across entire organisation for immediate, mid term and long term (2) Conduct research to develop the immediate, mid-term and long term strategies (3) Monitor KPIs and progress towards targets, and analyse performance against industry (4) Encourage innovative solutions on planning, design and execution for flexibility and adaptability for all activities and operations (5) Keep board of directors, *SCAPE and staff on track and in compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements (6) Take a holistic, enterprise-wide approach to sustainability for long-term value creation and risk mitigation, in alignment with the SG Green Plan.
YOU WILL BE WORKING ON:
Corporate Planning
- Monitor programming workplans, budget utilisation, and deliverables, preparing monthly and quarterly reports for stakeholders, including YD/MCCY.
- Develop KPIs and metrics to assess strategic initiatives and streamline reporting tools in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Organise and consolidate strategic planning sessions, annual workplans, and reviews of organisational priorities.
- Prepare and submit organisational strategies and funding applications, supporting other departments in their submissions to external agencies.
Board Secretariat & Management Meeting Duties
- Support Board secretariat duties, including Board Renewal, Self and Peer Evaluations, AGM organisation, and procurement tasks.
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary on annual filings and Board matters, ensuring compliance.
- Manage meeting logistics, including agendas, materials, minutes, and follow-ups on action items.
- Maintain comprehensive records of Board decisions, resolutions, and actions.
Risk, Governance & Personal Data Protection
- Assist in strengthening governance by reviewing policies, frameworks, risk controls, and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and support governance reporting, including periodic updates to stakeholders such as the Board of Directors, Charities unit, and YD/MCCY, in collaboration with the Senior Management team.
- Support the department in responding to internal/external audits and Requests for Information (RFIs) from YD/MCCY and regulators.
Team Mangement and Internal Collaboration
- Facilitate the sharing of best practices, success stories, and other valuable information among internal teams and stakeholders.
WHO YOU ARE:
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a similar role, and experience in working with public sector or government-affiliated organisations (non profits or universities) as public administrator is a plus.
- Team player with good networking, communication, and interpersonal skills to be able to work with a diverse set of people including staff, commercial and non-commercial partners.
- Resourceful, and able to work independently as well as a team member to meet deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal and communication skills.
