What You'll Be Doing
We're looking for a Legal Counsel to drive our legal efforts and provide comprehensive legal support across the organization — drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with privacy laws, supporting employment-related matters, and providing practical legal guidance on a wide range of business needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial law, excellent English communication skills, and a proactive, business-oriented legal approach.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer agreements, vendor agreements, procurement agreements, partnership/referral/consulting agreements, NDAs, and GDPR-related documentation
- Provide ongoing legal support to Sales, Customer Success, Product, and R&D teams on day-to-day legal matters and contract-related issues
- Assist in maintaining and improving ScaleOps' privacy and data protection compliance practices in line with global regulations
- Support employment-related legal matters and assist in drafting HR-related documents and policies
- Provide practical legal guidance on corporate and business matters as needed
- Work closely with the Legal Lead and external counsel to support company-wide legal initiatives
- Identify legal risks and support the development of practical, business-oriented solutions
- Conduct legal research and stay up to date on relevant legal and regulatory developments
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a leading university and qualification to practice law in Israel
- 3–5+ years of legal experience in a startup or tech company, with exposure to commercial law, privacy, and corporate matters
- Proven experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations (such as CPRA, U.S. state laws, HIPAA)
- (Nice to have) Corporate legal experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, growing team environment
