About the role

We are looking for an Internal Audit Intern to support our Internal Audit Manager in day-to-day audit activities.

This internship is designed for a student or recent graduate who is eager to gain hands-on experience in audit, compliance, and risk management within a regulated fintech environment.

What you will do

  • Support in the preparation and update of audit documentation (e.g. working papers, audit report, meeting presentation).
  • Participate in internal control testing and evidence collection (interviews with auditee, data analysis, etc.).
  • Assist in the follow-up of corrective actions with business teams.
  • Contribute to reporting activities for the Board of Directors and Internal Committees.
  • Support analyses on regulated processes (e.g. AML/KYC, ICT Security, Payment Operations).
  • Stay up to date with regulations and best practices in fintech and payments environments.

What we are looking for

  • Student or recent graduate in Economics, Finance, Law, Management Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in audit, internal control, and compliance.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proficiency in written and spoken Italian and English.
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and team-oriented attitude.
