Chargeback Specialist [12 month Fix-Term]

We are looking for a Chargeback Specialist/Analyst to join our Customer Operations department. You will be a financial investigator,  your primary task is to investigate disputed transactions to try to learn more about why disputes are occurring and how they can be resolved or prevented.

Responsibilities 

  • Determine which chargebacks to accept and which to fight.
  • Prepare evidence for chargeback replies.
  • Analyze account history and trends and take appropriate actions on accounts.
  • Identify cases of fraud, interacting with the risk team.
  • Contact merchants  to collect as much evidence as possible to fight chargebacks.
  • Respond to chargeback alerts accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to rules and regulations.
  • Answer concerns from other departments regarding chargeback.

Must Have:

  • At least 6+ months of experience in chargebacks or dispute processing
  • Fluent in Italian & English 
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to perform well under pressure.Capable of multitasking.

Nice to have:

  • Extra language knowledge (French or Spanish)
  • Proactive mindset, with the ability to suggest improvements to processes and systems
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, such as Google suite, Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
